that's all I can really say about 2025. today, february 14th, is the anniversary of my life trajectory changing significantly. honestly, i can only say things are better now.
to that point, it's time to move on. it's time to forget some things and people from my past. it's time to look to the present and the future. to reflect this, i want to reset my blog. it's become a time capsule for one of the worst times in my life, and i feel like that's a major point of de-motivation in writing for it.
i will also no longer be working on any of my goanimate related projects, such as phoenixvm, gaspeechserver, or any contribution to wrapper: offline. i am no longer involved in the community that is the audience for these softwares, and i would like to broaden my horizons when it comes to programming. there are more useful things i can do elsewhere.

honestly not a lot, but as of these past couple of days i've been trying to flesh out my web services. i now have a public ftp server! you can finally download music from the library page lol. (that is, if you have an ftp client.) i've also fixed some bugs with my website, since i kind of left it to rot for a while. i'm going to be a lot more active on here from now on though, so if anything arises i should be able to fix it relatively quickly.
i have been doing some other things, but that's information for other blog posts.
all in all, i'm back, and i'm feeling a little bit better. there's less weight on my mind.
